1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using White Cotton services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Services Description

White Cotton provides custom garment manufacturing services including:

• Sample development and production
• Bulk order manufacturing
• Tech pack consultation
• Quality control and inspection
• Shipping and logistics coordination

3. Orders and Payments

Quotations: All quotes are valid for 3 months unless otherwise specified. Prices may vary based on final specifications.

Payment Terms: Sample orders require 100% payment upfront. Bulk orders typically require 50% deposit with balance due before shipping. All invoicing and payments are processed through White Cotton, Lda (Tax ID: 518355411).

Minimum Order Quantities: MOQs apply per fit and fabric combination.

Accessories & Trims: We produce everything a clothing brand needs — woven labels, printed labels, hangtags, packaging, care labels, and more. Accessories are purchased and paid separately from garment orders, with 100% payment required upfront. We store your stock at our factory in Portugal, ready to apply to each production run. If needed, remaining stock can be shipped to you at any time (shipping costs apply).

Prices adjust based on quantity. Composition and washing labels (Made in Portugal) are included free with every order. All other branding must be your own.

4. Production Timelines

Standard production timelines are:

• Quote response: 6-48 hours
• Sample production: 2-6 weeks, depending on garment complexity and construction details
• Bulk production: 3-8 weeks after sample approval, depending on garment complexity, construction details, and order quantity

Timelines may vary based on order specifications, seasonal demand, and material availability. Rush orders may be accommodated subject to additional fees.

5. Garment Wash Color Variations

For garments with special wash treatments such as pigment dye, enzyme wash, acid wash, fade-out, or similar finishing processes, please be aware that slight color variations are inherent to these techniques.

Color discrepancies of approximately 5% to 15% between batches are normal and should be expected. It is not possible to achieve identical color results for wash treatments across different production runs due to the natural and artisanal nature of these processes.

By placing an order with wash treatments, you acknowledge and accept these inherent variations.

6. Order Quantity Tolerance

Due to the nature of garment manufacturing, final delivered quantities may vary slightly from the ordered amount. This is standard practice in the textile industry.

Orders are subject to a quantity tolerance of approximately +/- 10%. For example, an order of 300 units may result in a final delivery of 270 to 330 units.

We always aim to deliver the exact quantity ordered, but variations may occur due to fabric utilization, production efficiency, and quality control requirements. You will only be invoiced for the actual quantity delivered.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, tech packs, and brand assets you provide remain your intellectual property. We will not share, reproduce, or use your designs for any purpose other than fulfilling your orders without explicit written consent.

8. Quality Standards

All products are manufactured to European quality standards. We conduct quality inspections at multiple stages of production. Any quality concerns must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, weight, and delivery speed. We offer multiple shipping options including air and sea freight. Risk of loss transfers to buyer upon delivery to carrier. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.

10. Returns and Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns unless there is a manufacturing defect. Defective items will be replaced or refunded at our discretion after inspection.

11. Limitation of Liability

White Cotton shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with applicable regulations.
