Where the hours go
A tech pack is worth its specifications.The maker writes them for you.
The drawing is the easy half. What a factory quotes and sews from is the exact colour code, the graded measurements, where the print sits in centimetres and how every seam is made. In our experience, a brand that has done this before, with everything to hand, still loses one to two hours doing it by hand. A first collection takes five to ten — and still comes back from the factory with questions.
The exact Pantone, without the chart
Pick a colour on the garment and the maker gives you its Pantone TCX code — the reference a dye house works to — with the closest alternatives beside it. Panel by panel, if the garment is colour-blocked. No swatch book, no guessing between four near-identical codes.
A graded size table, already written
Choose the fit and the table arrives graded across every size from a factory's own block, with a tolerance on every point of measure. Every number stays editable: change any base value, set its grade interval or add your own rows, and the whole run follows.
Artwork placed in centimetres
Drop your artwork on the real panel and drag it to size. The pack records its width, height and position in centimetres, the print method, and every ink colour as a TCX code the printer can mix to.
Construction chosen, not invented
Each detail offers what that garment normally has, marked Standard, Upgrade or Complex — so you see what is simple and what adds work. Where your silhouette already fixes a detail, it decides it, and the pack never contradicts the drawing.
Labels, care and packaging, decided
Your neck label, a care label worked out from your fabric's composition, and the packaging — the finishing questions a factory asks at the end, answered before it asks them.

The pictures in a pack are AI-generated references of how an option looks, not sample approvals — your sample is still approved on the garment. We are a garment factory in Barcelos, and the pack works with ours or any other.

Factories quote what they can read. A vague brief gets a padded quote or no answer, and every gap comes back at the sample to be fixed and paid for. A complete tech pack moves those mistakes onto paper, where they cost nothing.

How the tech pack maker works

Choose one of 13 garments. It arrives finished — a real factory's block, graded, with fabric, trims and construction already specified — so you start from a complete document, not an empty one.

Against the three usual ways of getting a tech pack
Drawing it in illustration software
Hours per style, and the drawing is the easy half — the measurements, grading and tolerances are what a factory reads, and they have to come from a real block.
Filling a template
The blank fields are the hard part. A template gives you the headings; it cannot give you a graded size run, a fabric weight that exists or the TCX code for your colour.
Paying a freelancer
Days of turnaround and a fee per style, per revision. Fine once; expensive every season, for every colourway.
The maker starts from a finished, factory-real document and lets you change only what is different — so a second style, a second colourway or the same artwork on another garment is a copy, not a rebuild.
Works with any factory — and makes your samples cheaper
The pack speaks the industry's language: flats, points of measure, graded sizes with tolerances, Pantone TCX codes, placements in centimetres. That is also what makes sampling cheaper: the fit proved on one sample garment, your colours matched to their TCX codes on dyed swatches, your designs seen on fabric pieces at their real size — so you compare shades and logos without a sample garment for every idea, then approve a pre-production sample in your final colour before bulk.

Is this an AI tech pack generator?
No text is generated. The maker starts every garment from a real factory's pattern blocks and grading — the measurements, tolerances, seams and trims a factory already cuts from — and you decide the colour, cloth, fit, artwork and details on the garment itself. The document is drawn from those decisions, so nothing in it is invented.
Do I have to produce with White Cotton to use it?
No. The tech pack is a standard garment specification in the industry's own language — flats, points of measure, graded sizes with tolerances, fabric and trim specs, artwork placements with measurements, and production notes. Any custom factory can quote and sample from it. Many brands use it for their own factory.
What comes out at the end?
An editable vector PDF of 17–22 pages — the length depends on what you select: cover, technical flats front and back, colourways with Pantone TCX codes, points of measure and the graded size run, fabric and trim specifications, the construction details you chose, artwork placement pages with sizes and positions in centimetres, labels and care, packaging, and production notes.
Which garments can I make a tech pack for?
13 garments today — hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, long sleeves, polos, tank tops, zip hoodies, half-zips, cropped sweatshirts, shirts, sweatpants and shorts. Each starts from its own factory block.
Can I use my own measurements?
Yes. The maker opens with a factory block's graded measurements so nothing is empty, and every number is editable: type your value at the base size, keep or change the grading step, and the whole XS–3XL run regrades in front of you. A visual guide shows how to measure a garment you already own.
How is a custom garment sampled from this tech pack?
The way custom factories do it: one sample garment for fit and construction; your final colour approved as a dyed fabric swatch (a lab dip) matched to the TCX code in the pack; artwork tested as strike-offs on fabric pieces, placed to the centimetres in the pack; then a pre-production sample in the final colour before bulk. How your factory runs those steps is agreed with them — the pack gives each one the reference it needs.
Can I change the pack after I download it?
Yes. The document is an editable vector PDF, and the maker keeps your pack so you can adjust a decision and regenerate. A second design of the same garment, or the same artwork on a different garment, starts from a copy rather than from scratch.
