Fleece

Definition

A synthetic or cotton-blend knit fabric with a soft, pile-like surface on one or both sides. Fleece ranges from 200 gsm (microfleece) to 400+ gsm (heavyweight), offering excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. White Cotton produces both polycotton and 100% cotton fleece options — the cotton variants are increasingly popular with brands seeking a more sustainable alternative to petroleum-based fabrics.
