Flock Printing
Definition
A decoration technique where short fibre particles (flock) are electrostatically applied to an adhesive-coated surface, creating a velvety, raised texture. The adhesive is applied through a screen in the desired design, then flock fibres (typically 0.5-2mm nylon) are shot onto the surface using an electrostatic charge. Flock printing adds a distinctive tactile premium to logos and graphics, popular in streetwear and fashion.
