Grading
Definition
The process of scaling a base-size pattern up and down to create a complete size range. Grading rules define how much each measurement point increases or decreases between sizes — for example, a 2 cm chest increment between S and M. Proper grading ensures consistent fit proportions across all sizes. At White Cotton, we grade to your size chart or apply standard European or US grade rules.
