Interlock
Definition
A double-knit fabric where two layers of jersey are knitted together, creating a smooth, identical face on both sides. Interlock is thicker and more stable than single jersey, typically 180-300 gsm, with minimal curl at the edges and excellent drape. It is favoured for polo shirts, childrenswear, and structured t-shirts where a premium weight is desired.
