Ponte

Definition

A thick, double-knit fabric (typically 280-350 gsm) with excellent recovery and a structured drape, often composed of rayon, nylon, and spandex. Ponte bridges the gap between knit comfort and woven structure, making it ideal for tailored trousers, blazers, and skirts that need to hold their shape without a lining or interfacing.
