Modal
Definition
A semi-synthetic fibre made from beech tree pulp through a closed-loop chemical process. Modal is 50% more absorbent than cotton, resists shrinkage, and maintains exceptional softness through repeated washing. Commonly blended with cotton or elastane at 140-200 gsm for premium underwear, loungewear, and base layers where a silky hand feel is paramount.
