Poplin
Definition
A tightly woven plain-weave fabric with a smooth, crisp finish, typically 100-150 gsm. Poplin is the standard for dress shirts, button-downs, and lightweight structured garments. Its tight weave gives it a slight lustre and makes it an excellent base for screen printing and embroidery, as the surface holds detail cleanly without distortion.
