One detail separates a rugby from a piqué polo, and it is not the weight: the collar is woven, which makes it a second fabric on the bill of materials rather than a knitted trim. Factories that miss that line quote the garment as a heavy polo and source the collar from the body fabric, and the result is not a rugby.

The sleeves are long and cuffed, so the cuff height and relaxed opening rows are here too — the piqué polo has neither.

Before you buy

Why does the woven collar matter so much?+

Because it is a separate fabric with a separate minimum, a separate lead time and a separate cost. Leaving it off the bill of materials is the most common way a rugby polo comes back late or wrong.

Is it drawn with and without the cuff?+

Yes. The pack carries two silhouettes so you can specify the sleeve end you want and delete the other before it goes to a factory.

What do I actually receive?+

A vector PDF and an .ai file, by email, immediately after payment. Both open and edit in Illustrator, Affinity or CorelDRAW — nothing is flattened or locked.
