Landed Cost

Definition

The total cost of a garment when it arrives at your warehouse — including FOB price, international freight, import duties, customs brokerage, and local delivery. Landed cost is the true cost of goods and the figure brands should use when calculating margins. For European brands manufacturing within Portugal, landed cost is essentially the ex-factory price plus domestic shipping, with zero import duties.
